What does it mean to be loved?
What does it mean to be love?
What is beloved?
The upcoming man-made holiday that some people loathe is approaching…VALENTINE’S Day!
What exactly is the meaning behind Valentine’s Day?
Why do people dislike this day?
Do people hate it because they are not in a relationship?
Does it remind people that they haven’t experienced the ‘vibe’ of what Valentine’s Day brings?
Why exactly do some people (key word some, not ALL), wait for a day to tell them how to appreciate those they love?
I mean…. Is Valentine’s Day corny? Haha
Questions that need answers…
But I often wonder, besides Valentine’s Day, do people really know what love is? And what it entails?
I sometimes think that people have the misunderstanding of what it is to be loved, to be love, and beloved…They all are surrounded by one common thing… YOU. To BE LOVED, means that someone else shows and displays a great interest in you. To BE LOVE, would take selflessness; to love something or someone beyond physical desire. Love them where they are at. And BELOVED, something or someone you hold dear, it’s a different type of cherish. Yes, you can be loved by someone for what you can do for them, but can you be someone’s beloved? Can you be cherished, appreciated, and adored—with no conditions?
My own personal experience and perspective. I want to BE LOVE and BELOVED. I know what its liked to be loved, but not to be cherished. I wait for the moment to be adored, to be respected, to be more than a means to a temporary end.
But in my understanding, love comes down to who YOU are.
What are you displaying?
What are you reciprocating?
What are you attracting?
I mean, what are YOU doing to allow the right atmosphere of love to find you, and love you the way you need and desire?
Self-reflection and identity are key, to understand YOU…
...once you understand that…you can start to learn the power and the different elements of Love…
